# Roadmap

Our roadmap for HealOpera is built around a simple progression: **Connect → Understand → Coordinate → Learn**. Over three years, we want to move from creating a connected hospital foundation to helping hospitals understand what is happening, coordinate the right response and continuously improve from the outcomes they see.

### PHASE 1 - Connect & Establish

In the phase pne, our focus is on **bringing the hospital together**. We want to connect the core workflows that make up a patient's journey — Emergency, OPD, IPD, Surgery, Diagnostics, Pharmacy and Discharge — and establish the context around patients, workflows, resources and workforce.

We will build role-based experiences for doctors, nurses, operations teams and administrators, while introducing the first layer of **Cognie-powered situation detection**. The system will begin identifying meaningful situations and signals, while keeping people firmly in control through human confirmation, auditability and governance. We will also establish integrations with existing hospital systems so HealOpera can work with the technology hospitals already depend on.

**By the end of Phase 1, our goal is to have a connected operational foundation with the first layer of contextual intelligence.**

### PHASE 2 - Understand & Coordinate

In Phase 2, we move beyond simply connecting workflows. Our focus becomes **understanding what is happening and helping teams coordinate what needs to happen next**.

We will expand Cognie across clinical, operational and workforce contexts so that situations can be understood across different parts of the hospital. HealOpera will increasingly identify relationships between events, dependencies and bottlenecks — including situations that develop over time rather than appearing as a single event.

We will also deepen workforce intelligence by looking at **availability, capacity, capability, authorization and assignment**. Based on this context, HealOpera can provide more relevant recommendations and workflow actions for different roles. Most importantly, we will introduce stronger feedback loops, allowing the platform to learn from situations that have been validated by people and from the outcomes that follow.

**By the end of Phase 2, our goal is for HealOpera to move from showing teams what is happening to helping them understand what it means and what needs to happen next.**

### PHASE 3 - Learn, Optimize & Extend

In Phase 3, we want HealOpera to become a **continuously improving intelligence layer for the hospital**.

We will build deeper predictive and proactive capabilities that can help hospitals anticipate operational pressure before it becomes a disruption. This includes improving capacity and resource utilization, optimizing workflows across the hospital and developing deeper workforce intelligence.

We will also extend HealOpera beyond individual facilities. This means supporting **multi-hospital and healthcare-network coordination**, as well as connecting areas such as external referrals and payer workflows. As more situations are validated and outcomes are captured, the platform can continuously improve its understanding of how the hospital operates.

At this stage, we also see an opportunity to generate broader population-level operational insights, helping healthcare organizations understand patterns beyond individual patients or individual departments.

**By the end of Phase 3, our goal is for HealOpera to evolve from a connected hospital operating layer into a contextual intelligence layer across the wider healthcare network.**
